Revs. Abimael and D. Lynne Rodriguez are the founders of New Life Church. Pastor Abby was born in Cuba, son of an Assemblies of God pastor. He met his wife, Lynne, when she visited Cuba on a missions trip in 1972. They were married in September 1974, and in October 1979 immigrated to Vancouver, Canada, where they lived for ten years prior to moving to La Puente, California in order to attend school at Latin American Bible Institute. In November 1989, they began New Life Church. Our pastors have 4 adult children and 7 grandchildren.
