Rev. Aryunis Matos Lores and Talihuma Ortega Herrera, pastors of New Life Church. Born in Cuba. Converted to the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the Assemblies of God in Cuba. Married since May 1995. They began their ministry as Missionaries in February 1995 for two years. In October 1997 they moved to a second missionary outreach for three years. In November 2000 they founded the first Church in the community of Vialla in the municipality of Baracoa, where they remained until April 2004. In that same month they moved to the town of Maffo, in the municipality of Contramaestre, to pastor that church for almost seventeen years. In January 2021 they assumed the ministry of the main church in the city of Contramaestre for three years and four months. They then emigrated to the United States in April 2024. They have two daughters and two grandsons
